Got a few minutes to kill? Don’t mind spoiling the ending to Revolutions? Want to laugh at other people and their stupid theories? Then read this.
Fairly humourous with a hint of offensiveness.

I think it’s rad that you enjoyed Revolutions. I agree that it was great movie. Lisa and I had a talk about the possible ending when reloaded came out and we both fooled around with the possibility of their being some kind of reconcilitation. I was very impressed… i am done.
my only problem with the ending is that i thought it was telegraphed at the audience. between what happened in reloaded and the telling of the story of the war in The Second Renaissance Pts. 1 & 2, it seemed pretty clear to me that it was heading towards a “machines are people, people are machines; let’s try peace” sort of an ending.
It was a nice touch, I think. How many times do you watch a movie and hope for the “bad guys” to be killed off or crushed? Have you talked to anyone who was pissed at the ending? (I haven’t, unfortunately.) I wouldn’t be surprised if you found a lot of people who wanted to see the machines destroyed “for what they did to the humans.” Watch the friggen Animatrix, the humans got what was coming to them.
End of line.
Beautiful. No I haven’t talked to anyone that disapproved of the ending, however I haven’t really talked to anyone who has actually seen it yet. I was somewhat disappointed though becuase I was expecting some kind of grandiose plot twist, but then again I guess reconciliation is sort of twist in and of itself….
One of the guys from work hated the ending. Unfortunately we were with someone who hasn’t seen it yet (a situation we will be fixing tonight), so I have not been able to discuss it with him.
It amazes how much the response of people that have a whoping 6 hours invested into a story reflects the emotions of people who have been in a bitter struggle for survival for generations – the “baddies” must be crushed.
