Many things are past. Like this topic and the next five, which I should have posted days ago. Being able to think only of myself is past. Being able to stay up all night playing StarCraft. That has passed. Eating “far more than seems necessary or even reasonable”? Past. Abiding by silly American usage standards that say punctuation that isn’t part of a quote should be included within the quotation marks? Past.
