NaBloPoMo Day 29 (45 minutes late)
Slept in today. Was functional at noon. So, I got back to reading. When I was hungry and was microwave-baking a potato, I ran some water in the kitchen sink and was concerned when I heard what sounded like draining water. So, I looked, and I noticed that I hadn’t taped the connection going to the sprayer when I put in the new faucet back in June(? July?), so I figured that was leaking. I went ahead and ate my lunch and got to fixing the faucet.
I was really convinced that the connection to the sprayer was the problem when I found that the nut was not at all tight. So I went ahead and taped it up and connected it, figuring I’d be done. But, when I turned on the faucet, I saw water draining down the feed lines. So, I figured I’d better take apart the faucet.
Long story short, I ended up taking off the faucet, taking it apart entirely, only to find no problems with any of the washers. Then I wondered how the feed lines were attached, so I looked. Well, I found that the sprayer line was not even finger tight. So, I pulled it off, checked it, and put it on nice and tight. Put every thing back together and after four hours I was done.
Before the thing broke, I realized that I was reading my book at about 10 pages an hour. Like I said, slow read. So, once the faucet broke, I decided that I’d switch to one the easier and shorter books for the purpose of my report. So, now I’m reading “How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth”. So far, it is definitely reading faster, but it is nowhere near as interesting. However, I have to get the report done so I can move on to the real papers that I still have left *plus* get to reviewing my Greek for the exam that is next week.
Just two more weeks to the semester. Hooray! Then I get SIX(!) weeks off, and I don’t even have to work for two of those! Hooray!

think of all the sleep & game playing (game playing!) you can squeeze out of two weeks without work & school!
