Here it is, folks. According to the US Treasury Secretary, the future of the economy depends on consumers going into debt:
“This lack of affordable consumer credit undermines consumer spending and, as a result, weakens our economy,” said Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson at a press conference.

yikes! and here i was all proud for not using my credit card at all last month. what was i thinking? wal-mart, here i come!
